What I'm Doing Now

Vancouver, BC · Updated February 2026

01Building

KnockerPro

A territory mapping app for door-to-door sales reps. The incumbent tools (SPOTIO, SalesRabbit) charge $60–80/user/month on annual contracts. I'm building a faster, cheaper alternative on React Native + Expo + Mapbox — starting with the map and the knock log, the two things reps actually need.

Ledger

Invoicing and expense tracking for Canadian freelancers. The gap: every invoicing tool either ignores GST/HST or handles it wrong. Ledger auto-calculates tax by province, scans receipts with OCR, and generates a T2125-ready year-end summary. Built for the 2.7M Canadians who file as self-employed.

On Thin Ice

Shipping data updates and new tools to onthinice.ca. Most recently: a live US Tariff Tracker covering the 2025 trade war — 17 timeline events, 5 Canadian export sectors, real exposure data.

02Looking for Work

Actively looking for a full-stack or frontend developer role in Vancouver. My stack is Next.js 15, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and React Native. I'm most interested in small teams (<30 people) building real products — not maintaining legacy systems.

Open to remote with a Vancouver time zone preference. Not interested in short-term contracts right now.

Reach out if you're hiring.

03Training

Running a 12-week fitness program targeting Canadian Armed Forces FORCE test standards. Infantry targets: sandbag lift, intermittent loaded shuttle, 20m rushes. Daily habit — not optional.
